Education:
- ACE Certified, Licensed and Insured. In addition to belly dance, I can teach fitness and aerobic classes as well.
- 1995-Current: Personal instruction with over thirty Middle Eastern dance instructors including: Alexandra King, Bert
Balladine, Rachel Brice, Fat Chance Belly Dance (Carolena Nericchio, Jill Parker, Rina Rall), Aziz, Elena Lentini, Delilah,
Suzanna Del Vecchio, Hadiya, Dalia Carella, Kami Liddle, Dahlal, Rhea, Elisabeth Artemis Mourat, Amaya, Suhalia Salimpour,
Ansuya, Cassandra, and many more.
- 1991-2008: Student of Master Instructor Zahirah, of Lebanese heritage. Focus: Classic Raks Sharki, Cabaret, Folk Dances.
- Instruction in Middle Eastern music and rhythms, with an emphasis on percussion, from Armando Maufufo, Michael Beach,
and Brett Bowen (AKA Angus).
Teaching Experience:
- Currently teaching five ongoing classes, including a “Belly Fit” class that combines elements of bellydance,
pilates and aerobics, as well as private/group classes & monthly workshop series.
